- Mulmul Knas
- MULMUL KNAS (India)(Literally means muslin made for the private use of the king). It is a fine, plain weave fabric, about 52 ends and 48 picks per inch. It is made in lengths of 10 yards, 36-in. wide. The weight is about 3-oz. and the yarns about 250's to 300's counts. The native weavers of Dacca made the cloth from the cotton grown in the district. About 1850 a piece of 10 yards cost ???10
